The Axxis Hi-rise Condominium was constructed in 2000 by Bosa Developments. There are no post-tension cables in the Axxis, and so construction is concrete throughout, even the interior walls. The views are quite interesting in almost all directions. Heating is baseboard type and there is no air-conditioning.
Tarjan Place, formerly Tarjan Pointe by Point of View Developments is a project of formidable scale and has almost an unlimited number of different city views and floor plans. It is one of the few buildings in the city which include heat, water and electricity in the condo fees.
TheVista West condo, formerly named the West Pointe Plaza is steps away from the C-Train on 7th Avenue, and has some comfortable and conventional floor plans. It is barely visible, with no identifiable markings except for the address “683” if you happen to glance upward.
I have a lot of favorite condos in Calgary. There are so many nice ones and they all have good features. The Marquis is kind of special for a number of reasons, mostly intrinsic. The Marquis condo has some priceless unobstructed views of the Bow River on the North.
The Westmount Place Condo is a half-block from the C-Train & one block to Shaw Millennium Park. Most of the units here have been extensively renovated to a very high standard, and the unit holders can mostly well afford the higher maintenance costs associated with the upkeep of this aging beauty.
Discovery Pointe condo is across the street from Shaw Millennium Park and backs on to the C-Train very nearby the banks of the Bow River. Discovery Pointe condo is for the most part an entry level hi-rise apartment condominium in one of the best locations in the city. It has spectacular views all around and has exceptional access to Bow Trail, 14th Street, 4th & 5th Avenues.
